SUMMARY:Hurricane Beryl Benefit Gig
DESCRIPTION:On July 1st 2024 Hurricane Beryl\, made land fall on the island
  of Carriacou in Grenada as a high end Category 4 hurricane\, causing tota
 l devastation. The hurricane also destroyed several places in the Caribbea
 n\, to which many of BRO members have close connections.\nBristol Reggae O
 rchestra would like to aid the support effort by hosting this fundraising 
 event.\n\nNo age restrictions\n\n| Bristol Reggae Orchestra |\nEstablished
  within the community of St Paul's in 2010\, BRO have consistently deliver
 ed quality and special curations of reggae and roots music. A large ensemb
 le formed around the core rhythms of reggae and ska they have not been afr
 aid to experiment and now have a huge repertoire of originals and arrangem
 ents of reggae standards. In 2023 with their newly formed Windrush choir t
 hey opened the Glastonbury Pyramid Stage on the final day of the festival 
 and opened the proceedings for the renovated Bristol Beacon later that yea
 r.\nExpect an inspiring and authentic performance with a vibe right off of
  their performance 3 days before at Valley Fest. BRO are committed to the 
 cause and have responded promptly to get this off the ground so they can d
 eliver much needed aid and give back to the destruction caused by this hug
 e natural disaster.\n| Celestine |\n2X Grammy Award winning vocalist Celes
 tine (The Chemical Brothers) and performer for the critically acclaimed\, 
 Dr Meaker is an eclectic soul artist with prominence and a supreme soulful
  voice. Celestine is also current voice of the popular music group Black B
 ox (Ride On Time).\nPlayful\, sensual\, bold and endearing\, Celestine’s
  passion and diverse musical ability transcends across genres and audience
 s.\n| DJ Style |\nOver the last 32 years DJ Style has been an instrumental
  part of establishing the Hip-Hop and R’n’B scene in Bristol\, rising 
 from the underground into a permanent fixture in many night clubs.\nThe im
 pact of his mixtapes & Ujima radio show is evidence of his talent and skil
 l\, and the reason why DJ Style is highly regarded as one of the best in h
 is field.\n| Nia |\nWith her lyrics vibrating on a soulful\, rich earthy t
 ones\, Nia's aim is to inspire and empower with deep family roots in gospe
 l. She is a Singer Songwriter\, Poet and Creative Artist. With a passion f
 or her Jamaican roots\, Nia founded Chi Chi Bud O Song and Story in 2021.\
 nNia has recently completed the Windrush Travelling Songbook culminating i
 n her second appearance at the Bristol Beacon in 2024. She self-published
